I'm a nice but poor dude, trying to boot-strap my way up... we'll see...

Well, I'm pretty sure my love affair with such things likely contributed to that project's initial existence, lol, since there's been fairly little buzz about that stuff outside of that -- so it's a bit recursive in that respect I guess (heh) -- but I'm glad to see it still generating some activity! GL with the project.
Hey there Starhawk and thank you for the follow / like of #Hypnotic Lights :-)
Good morning and thanks once again this time for the follow and like for #Light Logic :-)
look at this (low cost) https://hackaday.io/project/47138-pure-mechanic-motor
*In reference to UR question on the stack...
Hey starhawk, well..it kinda looks like a top or bottom piece to a packing container that might have housed maybe glass cuvettes or something akin to that, especially since there are #'s and I think that symbol at the center is UR clue.
hey Starhawk, I never thanked you here for the 'like', guess I was all caught up in our interesting discussions!
Hi there, thanks for the like and follow of the cardboard computer :-)
I could not have liked or followed a more awesome project. Forgive the fanboying -- but you're going to go places with that thing, real places and important places. Enjoy the adventure... :)
Again, thank you :-) I had tried to build the paperclip computer back in the 70's and gave up thinking it was too much to handle. Now look what I got myself into :-) My wife just shakes her head at this project.
...hey, wait. Your profile says North Carolina. Where in NC are you, if I can ask? I'm in Siler City, an hour East of Asheboro (where the zoo is) and an hour West of Raleigh.
Apologies if I'm coming off a little creepy here -- I have Asperger's, so I don't always know when that is. I promise I'm harmless :)
Hay, no problem at all. Don't mind chatting :-) I live in Bolivia, NC near Southport / Oak Island on SE coast. I lived in Robbins for a few years and have been to the zoo and Asheboro many a time. When I hear of Siler City, I think of Aunt Bea :-) (Mayberry)
Ha! I bet my father knows that area better than I do. He's nuts about the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, and is in the process of moving to Salvo right now...
I didn't actually know there was a town named Bolivia in NC. I thought that that part of your profile meant that you shuffled between NC and Bolivia the country. You'd think with all the traveling I've had in my past, I'd know a few things about my own state... geez.
Hext time you're planning to be anywhere near here with some spare time, drop me a line a couple days in advance -- I don't drive and public transit here is weird (they need to know where to take you 2-3 days before you're going, no joke) but maybe we could meet for lunch at Burger King or something -- I'd LOVE to see your computer in person! (and maybe by then I'll have something put together that I can brag about, myself... maybe... would be nice, lol)
Have never been to Cape Hatteras but would like to go someday, I am way south from there :-) Most folks think that Bolivia is only a country in SA. So did I until six years ago :-)
Thanks for liking and following #Reimplementing a 1 bit CPU !
