Using Feed Wrangler to create it first, i wrote a custom RSS feed.

TODO: 1) display date in title, since crap readers like Google do not respect the RSS date tag, but instead display their own last refresh time (which is every 3 hours, or who knows when – no, clicking on Refresh Feed in Google Reader does not work); 2) add admin interface options to Feed Wrangler to choose several options, at minimum: category + custom field to filter on. 3) add Alpha feed to its widget on the front page and user another copy of the code to continue developing it.
